Financial Aid

Enderun is willing to invest on highly motivated students with leadership potential, excellent academic standing and with good prospects of succeeding in their chosen careers. The Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) program was created to financially aid deserving students who cannot afford to immediately pay the full tuition fees at Enderun. An SNPL loan of up to 50% of tuition may be applied upon enrollment which is payable after graduation with a spread of up to 8 years from first enrollment (maximum of 4 years in school and 4 years after graduation). An annual interest rate of 6% commencing on the date of the student’s availment of the SNPL loan shall be applied (interest rate may vary each year upon renewal of the contract). The student will have the option to pay the total or partial amount of the SNPL loan while studying at Enderun. The student on SNPL program may also choose to pay off the loan partially through the Work Study program (see “Work Study” for further details).

Criteria To Qualify

SNPL beneficiaries must possess the following:

• proof of financial need (ITR and Statement of Assets and Liabilities)
• must be a permanent resident of the Philippines
• excellent academic standing

Conditions to Maintain the Financial Aid

The financial aid will be reviewed every year, up to four years. Annual review will determine continuation, pre-termination or re-scheduling/change in conditions of the financial aid. Noncompliance with the financial aid standards will mean forfeiture of the benefit:

• must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline
• must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times.
• Behavior unbecoming of a scholar may result to immediate forfeiture of the financial aid
• must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
• must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any subject
• must be a full-time undergraduate student of Enderun Colleges (no under load)

Process

Application for Incoming Freshmen

The Financial Aid application forms can be obtained online or from the Admissions Executive. Completed application forms are to be submitted with requirements: essay on “Why I need financial aid” (300 words or less), two (2) academic references from high school teacher and guidance counselor, one (1) 2×2 photo, and parents’ ITR. Application and complete supporting documents must be submitted to the Admissions Executive on or before 16 July 2018.

Application for Incoming Sophomores and Juniors

Game bài 68The Work Study program is designed to financially aid students in partially paying their tuition while giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience though the various student jobs available around campus. Areas where a student may be assigned are front office, food and beverage service, banquet service, cafeteria, student services, peer tutorials, faculty assistance, career development and admissions.

The Work Study program allows a tuition deduction of up to PhP 25,000 per semester with an hourly rate of Php90.19. Students under this program will get a maximum of Php25,000 tuition credit provided that they work at least 15 hours each week or 270 hours.

Criteria to Qualify

Game bài 68The Work Study program is limited to qualified students who need financial aid. Those who qualify for the SNPL program may also avail of the Work Study program.

Conditions to Maintain Financial Aid

The financial aid is renewable every year, for up to four (4) consecutive years. Non-compliance with the financial aid standards will mean forfeiture of the benefit. Among others, the standards require the scholars:

• must comply with Enderun policies or regulations and Code of Discipline
• must behave like an Enderun ambassador in compliance with the Code at all times.
• Behavior unbecoming of a grantee may result to immediate forfeiture of the financial aid grant
• must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher
• must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any subject
• must be a full-time undergraduate student of Enderun Colleges (no under load)
• must render the minimum number of hours required in the assigned work area(s) per semester.

Game bài 68The 100K Tuition program is designed to financially aid students who come from pre-selected low tuition high schools, but have potential to excel academically and be highly employable upon graduation. The 100K Tuition allows the qualified students to pay only PhP 100K per year (PhP50,000 per semester), while the balance is equally divided into an SNPL loan and Industry Partner Hotel or Business Scholarship. This financial aid is limited to student applicants in BS International Hospitality Management, with specialization in Hotel Administration, BS Business Administration and BS Entrepreneurship.

100K Tuition includes tuition fees and miscellaneous fees but excludes laboratory fees, certification fees, books, uniforms, dormitory and other fees.

The SNPL loan is payable up to 4 years after graduation.

Students who wished to avail of the 100K Tuition must be willing to finish the degree in 5 years or more. On the first year, the maximum unit per semester that a student can enroll is 15 units.
On the second year, the maximum unit per semester that a student can enroll is 17 units.
On the third year, the maximum unit per semester that a student can enroll is 17 units.
On the fourth year, the maximum unit per semester that a student can enroll is 18 units.
On the fifth year, the maximum unit per semester that a student can enroll is 18 units.

Criteria to Qualify

The 100K Tuition recipients first show a commitment to academic excellence. The three criteria for selection are:

• High scholastic performance in overall studies (top 15% of the batch)
• Excellent communication skills
• Exemplary talent in chosen field

Conditions to Maintain Scholarship and Financial Aid

The scholarship and financial aid is reviewed and is renewable every year, for up to 4 years.

• must be a full-time undergraduate student of Enderun Colleges (no under load)
• must be an active member of at least one Registered Student Organization (RSO)
• must render 120 hours (average of 6-7 hours per week) of service per semester as a token of
  giving back to the College.
